Spring Cruise Peoria - Springfield

Hello all.

As winter is ending and spring fast approaching, I figured what better way to welcome spring than a Ferrari/supercar cruise?

My name is Matthew Groner. I'm a freshman at Bradley University here in Peoria. Though I don't have a Ferrari, over the past few months here at school I've begun to meet prominent people in the Ferrari world in the Central Illinois area.

A thought occurred to me: why not create a cruise connecting the Peoria folks to the Springfield folks? Well, I'm hoping this idea comes to fruition.

Long story short, there are two possible dates that could work for some folks I've spoken with. Saturday April 18th or Saturday May 2nd, whichever most folks can make it.

For those meeting in Peoria, I would like for us to gather at Bradley University around 10 or 10.15, that way we can wait a bit for stragglers and head down to Springfield. It's only about an hour drive.

To all those coming from elsewhere and finishing in Springfield, I was thinking we'd arrive around 11.30. Once we all gather, we can stop and hang out, grab some pictures as a group, and then maybe head somewhere for lunch.

If I could make a request, for the folks starting in Peoria, I would like to ride shotgun in someone's car if I can. Would love to get some photos. Also a good friend of mine would also like to ride shotgun in someone's car if he can. Please and thanks!

Would like a head count for those who think they will be starting in Peoria, and a count of those who will be meeting in Springfield.

Let me know if anything should be changed. My first time really organizing a cruise as big as this. Thanks!

Finalized a date. It'll be Saturday, May 2nd. For those meeting in Peoria, I'd like to meet at Founders Circle on Bradley's campus, which is in front of Bradley Hall. Would like to get a count, like I said, before the date so I know who to expect. We will meet at 10 and leave shortly after to the Air Combat Museum in Springfield.
