    I was originally going to Winston-Salem for their C&C when I thought about the Lake Norman group trying to get their event going. I changed my mind and ended up at Lake Norman. It was a small group but I thoroughly enjoyed talking with fellow enthusiasts. It is held at the Waterbean Coffee parking lot, the owner of which had his Nissan GTR parked among the cars.

    Ferrari was represented by my 348, a 430 and a 458. I talked at length with both Ferrari owners who have some other very nice cars as well. They are good friends and both bought new Porsche 991 Turbos which they had at the Charlotte C&C last week. Those were beautiful cars as well which they are both thoroughly impressed with.

    There was a Boss Hoss trike that would have won a "most outrageous" award. Fitted with a 430HP small block Chevy, it would be a handful. These bikes are built out in west Tennessee.

    I really liked the pristine E39 M5. Another beautiful German car was a 1995 Porsche 993 Cab with only 18,000 miles.

    A number of English cars were represented with the XKE drawing a crowd as did the Cobra replicar. A couple of late model GTO's provided an Australian flavor while the Corvette C5 and the 1962 Chevy displayed some American muscle.

    Great photos, thanks for posting! I wasn't able to make it today, but hopefully I can make it next month. Also, great to see some Ferraris there, the two times I have gone no Ferraris came out.

    hey all, i just moved to the area about 2 months ago, this was my first visit to C and C here at Lake Norman. I came with my room mate in his e39 M5. I was the guy w the camera and big lens lol. My name is John, hope to meet some more of you all in the future!

    thank you all for coming out and helping us make a go of this. we should get better as we go. the location is nice and the waterbean is a very nice coffee shop as well.

    I have not been able to attend much due to travel but will begin to bring my 512bbi and my 930 turbo. we have other Porsche and Ferrari guys coming to the next event. good venue and mature owners make it safe and sustainable.

    Peter, How you gonna steer two cars at once??!! :)

    I'll try to make it down there sometime, but the Winston-Salem CnC is just too easy for me most times. and 8am is too early, IMHO.

    Dang, I'd love to come, especially since C&C Cary was shot down, but I'm going to be there during the next few days and probably won't be able to make the drive again in such a short timeframe.

    Will try to make this one next weekend. Will need to see how the schedule pans out this week. As a reminder I believe that they are doing a Wounded Warriors Car Show at FCI starting at 10am.

    Not sure which I am going to do, maybe both. Just wanted to put out there.

    Southnc is correct, it is in Greensboro. Sorry should have said that. I figured since we would be up north, the drive up to Greensboro would be a little over an hour away.

    yes. I will not be able to attend as I am away but it will go on without me.

    it will be nice to have you attend...with people like you joining in we will have a nice event before you know it! the ice coffee at the waterbean is tasty and strong!!!
