Last time I talked to Steve he said he had a Ferrari he was taking to auction that he expected to bring in about $750k. So I don't think money is the issue.

 

BTW that beautiful yellow 360 deserves to stay on the website forever.

I believe the sales focus has shifted a bit towards newer luxury cars with known blue book values. Service side is still the same as is the car locating/buying agent side.

 

Last time I was their they had a Dayton that Tom was prepping for sale. It was sold without being on their website. There are usually more cars in the showroom than is on their website.

Steve and Tom are the best! If you are in the market for a pre owned Ferrari, you can take what they say to the bank! They know the Ferrari's and always shoot straight!

 

Steve and Tom are the only car sales people PERIOD that I would buy from sight unseen.

 

LOL. I've bought two cars from them in the last 7 months. Been happy both times. Never quite had a place with absolutely no sales pressure. It was refreshing.

 

I have bought 4 ferrari s from them in the past 11 years and never had a problem or regret!,

 

I did not buy my boxer from them...but I should have! steve and tom are the very best!

 

Found some pics from back in the day. For anyone curious, they sold the original building a while back. We looked at buying it, the price was great, but my partner was in the middle of another purchase and timing just wasn't right. They updated the old firehouse property next door to match the aesthetic of the original building

@rampante550 When was that picture at Reynolda taken? The old Lee Davis Cars & Coffee was usually down in the other parking lot, and sometimes (rarely) there'd be a BMW event at Old Salem. I suspect if you tried to park a car on the lawn these days, they'd be rather unhappy. Murcies and Diablos on the lawn at Reynolda? Nice.

 

@Ricambi America I want to say fall of 2003. There were a couple other interesting cars there too. The guy with the XJ220 had a second one in red (I think he was speculating on them going up at the time) and I met him at VIR a few weeks later to help shoot a short film Image Unavailable, Please Login

Steve Barney is the most honest and strait shooting person I have ever met in the car business!
I bought my first Ferrari from him when he was Foreign Cars Italia, a new 1979 308 GTS.
The car world would be a better place if more people were like him.
