Got the email about it last night. I am hoping my work schedule will remain clear so I can be there!!! PDG
Hi Kevin. I will register today. For our friends who live away from CLT...Janet and I plan to drive down Friday afternoon and stay overnight. Please PM or let me know if you want to organize a group dinner someplace. We have two great opportunities to have the G-Boro/RTP area and CLT area Ferrari communities get together in March: the March 21st luncheon drive to Old North State CC put together by Philippe Dorier (FCA-NC Chapter President) and Kevin's CAFE event in CLT on the 28th. Let's make it happen.

With all the rain we've been getting lately, hopefully so. Oh wait, there is mixed precipitation forecast for Thursday.
Kevin. I sent you an email, but no response, so I will post here. I was thinking of making my first official NC outing with my 308 the upcoming “CAFE - 9th Annual Motori Italiani in Charlotte, NC on Saturday, March 28th. Is there still room, and can you elaborate on the event…when should cars be in place, I am thinking it is a good 45 minute drive from my place up in Highland Creek. When do the cars depart? Are old original non-restored 308’s welcome or is it more of a show car type event? Just looking for a few more details. Thanks in advance. JP
JP, I know your question is directed to Kevin, but i took my 308 over to the event last fall. Mine is definitely a driver car. I drove almost 3 hours over from Fayetteville and was just as welcomed as i could be. My brakes are out right now, but if i get them done I hope to drive over for this event as well. Great group of folks in CAFE!! I look forward to seeing them all again and hope to meet you with your 308 as well. PDG
Hey JP, I checked and I did write you back just after you emailed me. Of course, it probably would have worked a lot better if I had remembered to hit the "send" button!! Anyway, just sent one your way. - Kevin

At this point, everyone will just have to come on out to see what examples rounded out this year's field!
A friend of mine that lives in Charlotte just happened to go by. Guys and gals, I think you may have created a new Ferrari fan. He's heard me talk about them for decades. He just called and was floored how they look and sound close up. I'll work on him. Is anyone going to post pictures?
