    Hey guys, one of our Ferrari brothers needs our help. Please keep John Edwards and his family in your prayers. John had an allergic reaction to something that caused him to go into cardiac arrest. He's in the hospital and on a ventilator... Those of you that know John, you know how strong he is and what a fighter he is. He's survived a lot of things and I know he can get through this with our help!

    Jon and Margaret are wonderful, warm, and caring individuals. They welcome friends and new acquaintances with their smile and laughter and passion for living. My prayers are being sent for Jon and family.

    Come on John! We are pulling for you and love you!!!!!!!! John is the most upbeat person I have ever met, never negative, always, always positive. If anyone can pull through based on attitude alone, it is John. And he is tough. That smile is what you will always see.

    wow, that's awful. prayers for John.

    talked to him a few times on the phone about a car in ft lauderdale, he was extremely nice and very helpful and generous. one of the good guys for sure.

    Update from today... The prayers are working! The doctors have been working on getting John off the ventilator. On Saturday and Sunday, they were able to take him off the ventilator for about an hour each day. Today, I received a call that he had been off the ventilator for about a 2 1/2 hour period and that they don't have him heavily sedated anymore. He has been awake and very aware of what's going on. He still has a ways to go but as he gets his strength back and spends more time off the ventilator, he should continue to improve. Please keep praying for him a nd if you haven't sent him a card, please do so...(address posted in previous update) He needs to know how much we love him and miss him... Thanks and I hope to have more good news soon...

    Just wanted to give everyone an update on John and say THANKS for all the cards and prayers... He is doing better and getting his strength back slowly. I spoke with Margaret today and they are hoping to move him to a hospital in Asheville tomorrow that is more specialized in the treatment and physical therapy that John needs. They have put a smaller trachea tube in but John is still unable to speak. He is writing on a white board now and able to work on the computer some. He still has a ways to go so please continue to pray for John and his family.

    Thanks for the update Hank. I will be near Asheville for much of this month and hope to be able to visit with Jon.
