did you do the "repair" detail? nice work.

always amazing how many hacks remain in the detail business, and how frequently they manage to get their hands on nice cars.

Yes sir. I was quite concerned but it's coming along beautifully. This is just the first stage of 4.

Are you going to seal the paint after the paint correction? If yes, can you tell us what you plan on using? Thanks!

This is why seeing a detailers work and talking to many refered customers is ssoooo important. The cost of entry into the business is low and the cost to remediate bad work is significant.

Just curious for a few more details.

So, the car is not being re-painted, right? It has had some poor treatment but nothing catastrophic.

Do you have painting experience? I hear regularly about your mechanical skills but this is the first post I can remember about paint.

    Again, just curious.

P.S. Should I do something about my sodium valves? :):)

Kevin. I have done lots of paint work over the years. Working 60-70hrs a week on mechanical stuff is enough. I'd need another life to do body and paint too. I'm a body shops biggest night mare. Their excuses don't work with me because I know how it all works.
This car is not getting any paint work. Just lots of polishing to get to the bottom of the deep scratches. Here are some examples of my body and paint. I just replaced my phone Friday and most of my pics didn't transfer.
