Festa Italiano and the Italian car show at Seattle Center is coming up in a couple of weeks on the 29th and 30th. See http://www.festaseattle.com/ for more information. For those who want to show their Ferrari, register at http://www.festaseattle.com/autoshow.htm.
I'll be there on Saturday and maybe Sunday too. It's THE BEST free parking you will ever get at Seattle Center! Register your Italian car now! http://www.festaseattle.com/autoshowreg.htm
I'm having knee surgery Friday, so I'm done driving a stick for a couple months. Bummer.... I like this gathering. It's always fun.
Here's some photos from last year. This is a easy event to attend, because you don't need to show up until around 10:30 AM (it opens at 11AM) and you can leave in the early afternoon, after you have gotten your fill of all the great Italian food. We decided we needed a day out of the smoke here in the valley and had a part to pick up for one of my projects so it was road drip time. We Stopped by and checked out the cars and had a great time checking out the rest of the festivities. Here is the link to my photos. It seems that I can't post post photos directly to the board. http://smg.photobucket.com/albums/v443/Rob-D/Itialian%20Festival%20at%20Seattle%20Center/
Jeff, great to see your platinum winning 328 on Saturday. Sunday had a nice array of Ferraris too Image Unavailable, Please Login
Thanks for sharing the pictures Scott! I should have come out on Saturday, I see Byron was there, I have not seen him in ages.
I haven't seen him in awhile either!! I swung by for a few minutes Sunday. I was with some other folks and we were off to check something else out though. I waved at Kerry and off we went.
Yeah, well Jon (Bullfighter) and Jay (JayO) did all the winning. I just reap the later rewards of a well sorted/kept car and try to keep with the tradition of doing all the right things to keep her nice. All the cars were very nice on Saturday. I particularly liked that well restored Alfa.
late photos, note Signore Oberto still working the crowd, Alfa 8C wins "People's Choice" with badge and later the red head is out colored by local hair styles!
