I want to extend a invitation to Ferrari owners to enter a car in the Forest Grove Concours d'Elegance on July 20th, staged on the campus of Pacific University in Forest Grove, Oregon (25 miles West of Portland). Our theme is the ‘The Art Italian Motoring’, and we have established classes for pre-war and post-war Italian touring and competition cars. Jon Shirley has entered his Alfa-Romeo 8C 2900 and it is featured on our event poster. Keith Martin and Donald Osborne from Sports Car Market magazine are the event emcees. Glenn Mounger, former Pebble Beach Chairman, is our senior judge. Ron Tonkin Gran Turismo and Tonkin FIAT are the presenting sponsors.

    Classes for Italian automobiles are:
Class F1: Pre War Coach Built Italian Cars
Class F2: Pre War Italian Competition Cars
Class F3: Post War Italian Sports & Touring Cars through 1980 (we can be flexible on the 1980 cut-off date).
Class T: Ferrari Club of America Corral (any year welcome, non-judged)

There is a Vineyard driving tour on Saturday July 19th, featuring a spirited drive through Wine Country to a local winery for lunch and presentation of Tour Trophies.

Automobiles can be entered at our web site here: Entering Your Classic Car in the Forest Grove Concours d'Elegance There is no entry fee for the Sunday Concours. The Saturday Tour is $75 per car.

I am on the event steering committee, please contact me if you have any questions.

    Thanks,

    Allen Stephens

This is a really great event. I'm planning on going-- maybe next year, I'll be able to display my 365.

Are you doing Woodinville, instead? I signed up for Forest Grove, but I'm considering the NWFCA event which is, unfortunately, scheduled on the same day. (If I thought I actually had a shot at a trophy, I'd put my stock wheels back on :D).

No, the 365 is being painted and probably won't be done in time for Forest Grove.

I just moved to Aloha to attend Pacific's PA program in Hillsboro. I'll definitely try to make it out to this.
Any cost to attend as a spectator?
