    All,

Anyone in the Portland, OR area able to help me out.

I want to give a bottle of 7 Sirens Rum to a friend (I am in VA) and cannot find a mechanism to buy it.

If needed, we can ship to MD if VA is problematic.

    Availability is listed here.

Anyone willing to procure and ship?

    Thanks in advance!

I'll poke around my neighborhood and let you know what the story is. I think I can ship liquor by UPS, but I'll check. How soon do you need it? (Send me a PM as a reminder if I don't post here by Saturday).

I know that you aren't supposed to ship wine by Fed Ex. Not sure what the rules are on liquor. But you can ship "olive oil" interstate. Just sayin'...

My local liquor emporium carries it. $28.95. Us Portlandia Hipsters are on the cutting edge of cool booze.

Next I'll need to check with my local Mailboxes, Etc. to see if I can ship it--they'll have a variety of carriers, some of which may be more lenient than others. (Sorry to be a stuffed shirt, but in light of my vocation, I'm not going to fill out a false bill of lading).

If we're good to go, I'll send you a PM with transaction details. Cross your fingers.

...not as much as we'd like. :(

According to my local mailboxes, etc. guru, wine and beer can be shipped, but distilled spirits can't. I'm guessing it is a flammability issue, not a tax issue. I think special permits may be necessary.

The liquor store can't ship it either (the liquor store clerk suggested that I wrap it in sound deadening material and not disclose).

    Did m' best. sorry.
