I just filled out my entry form for Forest Grove, for the 365GT. The guy called and asked why I didn't include a picture, and I had to tell him "because it's about to get primer put on it."

I sent him a picture anyway...

Haven't done the tour; in past years, family activities and obligations have taken the front seat on Saturdays.

That's generally been the case for me as well, but now my kids are getting old enough that they're off doing their own things on weekends.

    Don,
Looking forward to seeing your 365 on the tour and at the Concours. I am the event chairman, and we look forward to having Ferrari owners participate. For the Vineyard tour, we have just finalized the route and destination, and we will tour to Stoller Family Estate winery. It's a wonderful location with plenty of parking, and we will have a light lunch and tour trophies presented by Keith Martin. if you have any questions about the Concours weekend, please let me know.

Great choice on the location for the vineyard tour. We keep a house out there and know the area well. The tasting room is outstanding and Bill Stoller is the most gracious host in the Oregon wine industry.

Allen, I went to the Concours website and there is a class for Ferraris to 1979. So anything newer would be Ferrari display? What is considered a supercar? 25 years ago a Testarossa was considered a supercar, now a Volvo could probably outrun it! They do however still LOOK like a supercar!

On another note, are you Al Stephens son? Al used to come to my shop occasionally 30 years ago to see what I was working on. I miss Al!

In previous years, my car was always display class.

I, too, was wondering whether my car as "the fastest 4 seat production car of the 20th century" would have supercar status. I'm betting that, 186 mph top speed notwithstanding, the answer would be "no." The envelope has been pushed so far in the past ten years that a recent 599 probably wouldn't qualify. I'm guessing it probably has to be something iconic: Miura, Enzo, etc.

Brian, For Modern super cars, we have invited newer, more iconic cars such as LaFerrari, McLaren, Enzo, Lamborghini, etc. However the Testarossa definitely has the wow factor. And Yes, I am Al Stephens's son. Glad to hear you got to meet him back in the day!

Well, I guess that confirms my expectation that radical, rather than evolutionary, is the standard. No 599s, 458s, etc.

It would be cool if we had the 456 and the 365 displayed close together. I have thought for a while that it would be neat to do an "evolution of the Ferrari 2+2" display, since I think we could come up with examples of every model from the local area.

Don, having a evolution of the 2+2 display would be great. I can arrange to place all of them together. If you can extend invitations to others, I appreciate it. I know of a 330GT 2+2 that lives down the street from me.

    Thank you,

    I have a 612, and I know the Tonkins have a 250GTE and (I think) a GTC/4. Our own SCouisineau has a 400. $$$=Speed has an FF.

Sent in my entry and vineyard tour reservation today. My reservation wasn't kicked back, so I assume the 40 car limit hasn't been reached and space may still be available if anyone else has an interest.

Wondered about this too. Submitted entry two months ago.

One month ago, emailed to confirm they received my entry. Their response mentioned "... acceptance letter soon via postal mail with all the details." Then ... crickets.
