Question for those in the Portland area RE insurance rates: Is $1,350/year a good deal for the following coverage?

    - No mileage limit
    - 100k/300k Liability
    - 1,000 Comprehensive and Collision Deductible
    - Vehicle value $80k

    Quote is from AMFAM for a 2004 360 (F1).

    Thanks.

    Cheers.
    Frank

When mine was newer it was significantly less, with better limits. I'm with State Farm. I was also late 40's in age, and no incidents (accidents/tickets).

Just received quote from PEMCO. $700 for 12 months. AND, the following plusses:

    1) coverage increase from current 100/300k to 250/500k
    2) Comprehensive and collision deductible from $1,000 to $500

They're also saving me ~$150 on my current Bimmer DD.

A big thank you to Wilson and everyone for helping.

    Cheers.
    Frank

Just curious...is this an agreed value policy?

    Thanks!

    Dr. Ron.

I will have to inquire RE replacement value. I provided a # for vehicle value when she ran the quote.

    Hope that helps.

    Cheers.

Hi Frank. If it is not an agreed value policy, then the replacement value may be the market value of the car when a claim is made.
    Thanks,
    Ron
