I have recently added a lovely 1961 Maserati 3500GT Vignale Spyder to my small collection. A very interesting car originally ordered by "Mrs.Maria Piera Merli Brandini" a Roman socialite. Delivered in Verde Scuro (dark green with leather in brown. 1 of 13 cars painted some shade of green and the only one of the 242 cars produce in dark green. A Matching numbers car, delivered from the factory with 5 speed, disc brakes, and wire wheels. As a side note: according to the factory archives her husband owned at the same time one of only 32 built 5000GT's the most powerful and luxurious production cars built during the period. Congrats! Nice companion for one of your family . . . . . ? Don't have a shot of the whole car as I was smitten by the details. Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login

Congratulations, and greetings from my Vignale to yours. Scott 1961 Triumph Italia 2000 GT Vignale #227
Straight outta Mediterranean Bond film vehicle appropriation. I don't care for new Maseratis – but this is an exemplary vehicle. Congrats.
