Hi everyone, we are moving to Portland in July and hoping someone can help with a good Auto insurance broker and realtor for house rental. Sadly I've sold my 612 already and looking forward to getting some amazing American cars once over.
dc, As you are moving to Portland, I would be happy to help with your housing needs. Although my focus is on selling homes for car enthusiasts (big garages), I should be able to help you with rentals as well. Portland Homes with Large Garages | Mark Scholz - 503-703-0618 I'm also the current national Treasurer for the Ferrari Club of America, and the immediate past Regional Director for the Northwest Region. We have several events locally throughout the year. And lastly, I also run the weekly Portland Cars and Coffee event at the World Of Speed Museum just south of Portland. Every Saturday, rain or shine, all year long. Portland Cars & Coffee | Every Saturday Morning @ 8am
That's great guys, I'll be in contact shortly and look forward to the C&C. What's the car seen in Portland like?
Outside of the C&C, which attracts about 200 cars/week, there are events at Portland International Raceway (PIR), the Forest Grove Concours--a nice event with some amazing cars, e.g., the Le Mans winning MB 300SLR owned by Craig McCaw, a Ferrari event on the coast in late spring at Cannon Beach and several Ferrari Club regional events, tours and garage tours. The varied climate and topography make for some very interesting Sunday drives as well.
Are you set on living in Portland? Will have a rental home in Vancouver available hopefully by July. My Portland home will have current renters out by November, but the driveway is not sports car friendly Welcome to the area.
Yes it'll be Portland due to work and thank you to everyone here who has been so helpful, as a matter of fact we leased our home through a ferrarichat referral. Thank you Frank. Looking forward to Portland and meeting you guys in a couple of months!
Hi all, arrived in Portland safe and sound last week, been car shopping the last few days. Look forward to meeting some of you guys soon.
Welcome! Cars and Coffee beginning at 8 a.m. on Saturday at World of Speed in Wilsonville should be a good intro. Less than a half hour from where you live (I'm guessing 15-20 minutes) World of Speed
Welcome. I'm in the Lake Oswego area--just down 217 from you. If you see a silver Exige S or a Avus Blu E36 M3 say "Hi". S
Hi all, I've remembered all your cars and will certainly say hi if I see you blokes. I'm hoping to get to C & C next weekend when I get my car.
Hi Allan, I was just at Raleigh Hills today picking some chairs up from Fred Meyer. Won't have my car til next week tho!
FWIW, the Freddies in Beaverton, about 3 miles west, is a bigger store with a larger selection of stuff.
