    just bought a 430. the driver's seat was pushed to far back and rubbed against the leather shelf. there's about a 2.5 inch wear mark and it drives me crazy. anyone know a good leather shop in pdx?

    I met a private leather repair guy in Tonkin s lot last spring. He comes to you. Very knowledgeable about our cars.

    Lynn Gibner used to be the go to guy in Stumptown, but he's basically retired.

    He referred me to Davd L. Peters Upholstery, who has space at Harold's Auto (as do the folks with ATD): 1015 SE Main, Portland.

    He's done a similar repair on my Ferrari's bolster: great work.

    awesome thx guys. just looking to do as good as i can with the scar to the leather. kinda bummed when i discovered it. really appreciate the leads.

    I don't think I can find the leather guys card... The service mgr at Tonkin does have it I'm sure. Yes Ball is the clear bra guy. He did my brother s brand new BMW and it is awesome.

    Lynn Gibner did some good work on my 365GT.

    If you are looking to do serious work on the interior, Guy Recordon is who I would go to.

    He's got a real long waiting list, IIRC. I ended up going to a fellow recommended by Craig who did a great job (recover the rear parcel shelf and fix the sagging headliner) at a reasonable price. Craig was the intermediary, so I don't recall his name.

    I've had both of these guys (pardon the pun) do stuff. Both did very good work (Lynn did a convertible top, Guy did an interior repair).

    Does anybody know where Guy's current shop is...? I don't think he's on Alberta anymore.
