Anyone here? Happened this past weekend. Sucks it spread after the first extinghuisher attempt.
The video you posted was pulled for whatever reason. Here's another. Guy tried to save it. I feel for him, that has to be a helpless feeling when a couple extinguishers wouldn't stop it. Love the headlines though $400K Lambo... https://www.autoevolution.com/news/lamborghini-gallardo-burns-to-a-crisp-in-seattle-owner-struggles-in-vain-119551.html#agal_0
Sorry for the owners loss. Pretty amazing at the 9:50 mark in the video. One of the firemen bends and tears off the front bonnet (with his hands) and then tosses it in the shrubs.
I can never figure out why someone would try to save a burning car. I had a 308 catch fire in Grapevine in 1997 while driving it. Surely it was insured.
Probably trained to do that...why waste time hunting for the release latch? Obviously nothing to save there. Field expedient
Bummer for the owner, but those cars are crap. I had a 2012 that was a nightmare and Bellevue Lamborghini had one of thier cars in 2013 catch fire at a car show as well.
