For Sale 1982 Alfa Romeo Spider

1982 is the last year of the series 2 spider, without the front and rear spoilers that most aficionado agree was a step in the wrong direction aesthetically. It is the first year of the very dependable Bosch injection system, so the only year with the 'good looks and dependability'. The paint is called seafoam green and is factory original pearl color that changes from green to blue, depending on light....just gorgeous! Interior is a combination of bright blue carpets, with dark blue leather, again, very attractive. I went to great expense to secure and convert to the stainless bumpers front and rear and eliminate the nasty US govt. required 'big ass black bumpers!'

I acquired this beauty from its original owner who saved every record from new and it has 57k original miles on the odo. It was repainted due to being 'keyed' by vandals at one point while parked in San Francisco...insurance paid.so it looks near new. Top was replaced at that time, padded canvas. Wheels are flawless, tires new.

This is one of the lowest mileage gorgeous spiders you will ever see. Prices are on the rise....what cool collector car isn't??, lol. I am downsizing my lovely collection of automobiles. Alfa's have been stuck in the mud valuation wise, but that won't last. A 1982 Spider went for $20k plus at this winters AZ scene, and this one trumps that one by a long shot. A$k is $15,900. I am in Lake Tahoe, NV (northshore).

Here is the link to the BJ car in Az. That sold for $22k, still shod with those nasty bumpers too.

I realize auction prices are skewed, I am also at 2/3 the price with arguably a better car too.

On the beach in Galveston...back 'in the day" I once had a South American beauty jump into my convertible Pontiac Firebird..like offshore when a fish accidentally jumps in the boat!

No, acquired it from its one and only owner from new who cherished it. In Sausalito, CA.

Jajajajajaja...time for history to repeat....I LOVE this color too, matches the blue/green, turquoise of Lake Tahoe or blue sky reflected seas....rare and desirable color in Alfa land.

Looks so nice. I just sold this '78 Spica car and rather miss it. The Bosch ones (like this '82) run so much better its not funny.

Kie, lovely series 2, 'Daytona's' look sweet, very clean example too. Yeah, these are the best value 'Italian' roadsters out there....cheap a$$ alfisti have kept it that way, lol.
