The car had a $300k plus sticker. 1/3 of sticker is more like it.

I have a 2010 base coupe for sale and I'm asking under 1/2 of sticker so your guess sounds about right. :)

I always thought the term wholesale meant sell it to a dealer and avoid the retail customer.

Wholesale deal meaning the car is priced for what it would do at the auction. Those prices posted from MMR are informative showing actual sales of the same model. However, they don't show condition. Dealers send cars to the auction that are aged (meaning they've been sitting) or that have issues like bumpers, mechanical, tires, ect. Most of the cars shown on that MMR report are Black. This car is Pearl white and will do every bit of asking price at the sale. Something else to think of when comparing an MMR report. You need a dealer license to go to the auction. Then you need to stand there all day and weed through the other junk. Then you pay an auction fee of 750 to 1500 per car. Then transport it back. Then fix the issues and get it ready to sell. Then hope that you have enough left to make a profit otherwise its a loss.

I personally took those pictures and walked around this car. Its absolute Pristine but she needs rear tires.

Over 600HP with some uniqueness with colors and huge Ceramic Brakes. I stand behind my statement that this is the best Priced WHITE SUPERSPORT on the market and hoping someone takes advantage of the opportunity.

Having a user name and password for MMR can be good and bad. Good because you can educate yourself on the market, bad because you'll never buy a car at that value shown. Knowledge is power!

Been in this exotic car business for 20 years. Spent 12 of them at the auction. Its not a fun place and HOPE is not a strategy. BTW MMR stands for Manheim Market Report

$750-$1500?! This is Manheim not Sothebys.

I've purchased a couple of cars that have gone through highline, Mercedes and Porsche, both mint (one from MBFS the other was offered by a MB dealer..not sure why they didn't want). Paid $1500 above their Manheim hammer.

Totally agree, MMR doesn't show condition (if historical listings are cached you can figure out), and they could be anything, but as you mentioned wholesale would be what it would fetch at auction. Will one get auction pricing at a retail outlet? No.

Congrats on the sale looks like though. IIRC it was listed under $110k, solid buy for whomever got it no matter. White on black is money.
