2017 Lotus 3-Eleven R (Race version - NOT road legal)
    $188,880 OBO

For additional pictures see our website: 2017 Lotus 3-Eleven Race Version - Aston Martin of New England & Lotus Motorsports, Inc.

Taking up the mantle of the much-lauded 2-Eleven, the 3-Eleven continues the Lotus philosophy of “performance through light weight.” Making 460 hp and 387 lb/ft of torque, and weighing 2,076 pounds with a full tank of gas, the 3-Eleven has a staggering power to weight ratio of 494 horsepower/ ton. Matched to race-bred suspension and sticky Michelin Cup 2 tires, the 3-Eleven is a scalpel. The 3-Eleven is no slouch in a straight line, bounding to 60 mph in just 2.9 seconds, on its way to a top speed of 180mph. With its targets set on race-day domination, the 3-Eleven is an uncompromising realization of Lotus’ mission to deliver an unparalleled marriage of handling and speed.

A featherweight aluminum frame and carbon fiber body sit on fully independent double-wishbone suspension, 2-way adjustable Öhlins dampers, and adjustable anti-roll bars, providing exceptional handling. Motive force comes from a 3.5 liter all-aluminum V6, fitted with an Edelbrock supercharger and integral intercooler allowing for amazingly linear power delivery. A 6-speed sequential gearbox and steering wheel-mounted paddleshift makes for lightning fast shifts. A Torsen limited-slip differential puts that power to ground.

The optional FIA-compliant roll cage, carbon fiber tonneau cabin cover, road to track data logger with GPS, and Pro-Software upgrade mean this 3-Eleven is more than ready for the track and competition. Get yourself behind the wheel and experience Lotus’ ultimate track weapon.

    Options:
Race Spec Version, Painted Carbon Tonneau, FIA Passenger Seat, FIA Roll Cage, Road to Track Logger with GPS, and Pro Software Upgrade.

    Best,
    Steve

    Very cool.

Btw, the power/weight ratio is confusing in light of the numbers you provided...is it power to "dry" weight? (I'm getting 1862lb dry weight?)

Good point... we got those specs from our Lotus info but their website actually shows 517/ton for the race version. Must be based off of dry weight. See details here: 3-Eleven | Lotus Cars

Either way... a bad ass track car!

Supercharged, intercooled, induction exhaust and some say they change the rods.

My exige has a mere 360 it sounds incredible and my BB motor is no smoother.

There are also some built NA camry motors with rods pistons and cams putting out over 420hp. Much lighter too without the supercharger and assorted hardware.

Lest not forget the masser v6 is really a chrysler jeep v6 block.
