    1985 M998 H1 HUMMER
    6,000 miles. (will change with use)
    New motor and completely rehabbed by the US GOVT. Motor idles and makes good power. Transmission shifts as it should.
    Runs and drives great.
    Keyed ignition and new batteries. I have the canopy top for the rear.
    n very nice shape for Military Surplus vehicle.
    Ready to use and enjoy.
    The drivers side fabric door has some stitching coming loose around the window zipper. Working on getting this fixed. Otherwise, ready to enjoy and use.

    This vehicle is plated and registered in Georgia. Georgia does not issue titles for vehicles this old so it is being sold on a Bill of Sale and copy of current registration.
    Car is located in Bloomfield Hills MI and is very clean!!

    Very cool! Based on its age, I am assuming it is the 6.2L non turbo diesel? I know of a vendor somewhat local to me in Wisconsin that sells original armored panels for these if the new buyer is interested!

    but these are the commercial motors not the civilian versions

    No worries Henry! I am a bit familiar with these, and I know that they have the commercial motors. They are decent drivelines!

    I will likely be installing a 24 valve cummins in a civilian H1 this summer. That is going to be quite the undertaking!

    Yes, people are registering them in NY either under AM General or if they do not have any previous paperwork they have been registering them as kit cars.



    some of the DMV offices have been POS and people have had to go to another office to get it done but there should be vehicles in the system now that should alleviate that.




    cant make any guarantees though

    and once i car has been registered with out a title GA will never issue one again....

    Can I import this into Canada? I know a bill of sale and Georgia registration will be fine but any issue with it being a military vehicle?
