    2006 Sportsmobile E350 Diesel 122k miles $35,900

Unmodified diesel Sportsmobiles dont come up very often..most have been 4x4 converted and beat up. I know a lot of other F car owners have these, so I decided to put this here. Trades considered for Ferrari or Porsche + or - cash.

My family has enjoyed our Sportsmobile (SMB) for the past year we’ve owned it. It has taken us camping all over SoCal, and on our road trips to Mammoth, Yosemite, and Yellowstone. It has performed flawlessly and we trust it to go anywhere.

Features: This SMB RB30 was ordered with a lot of great options! I have the original order sheet.

    ● Sleeps 4, seatbelts for 5
    ● Starcool rear AC
    ● Onan Microlite propane-powered generator (mounted underneath)
    ● Suburban propane heater
    ● Norcold refrigerator
    ● Dometic Microwave
    ● Sportsmobile flushable porta-potty
    ● Dometic Dual burner stove
    ○ This comes in a box. Previous owner removed it when he installed the new butcher block counters, as he preferred using the portable butane stove and having more counter space. The propane line is still there in the cabinets...very easy to reinstall stove if desired.
    ● Iwatani (Italian made) butane portable stove
    ● Pull-out pantry
    ● Sink with fresh and grey water tanks
    ● Swiveling front seats with SMB installed leather upholstery
    ● New butcher block counters
    ● New stainless steel cabinet handles
    ● New cabinet plastic edging purchased from SMB (the old edging shrinks over time)

    Condition:

    ● All RV features work as they should.
    ● Paint is excellent with very few nicks or dents
    ● Small dent in right front fender (see pics)
    ● Tires are two years old and have about 10,000 miles on them, good tread
    ● Interior is very nice, no stains or upholstery rips
    ● Well documented
    ○ Owners and service manuals
    ○ SMB brochures and detailed order sheets
    ○ SMB binder with all RV appliance documents
    ○ Service records
    ○ Carfax shows it was serviced regularly at Ford dealer
    ● Front bumper has a crack in the plastic
    ● Forged alloys have clear coat lifting in a few places

    Mechanical:

    ● 122,000 miles
    ● 6.0 Diesel engine has not had any major work done on it that I can tell
    ● Carfax shows regular maintenance at Ford dealer
    ● Starts great hot or cold
    ● Pulls hard like a healthy Powerstroke should!
    ● No smoke on acceleration or deceleration
    ● Uses no oil or coolant
    ● Passes CA smog
    ● Gets an honest 18-20 mpg on the highway.
    ● Ordered from Ford with
    ○ Full floating rear axle
    ○ Limited slip differential
    ○ Trailer towing package
    ● Transmission shifts perfectly
    ● AC is cold, both the Starcool and in-dash.
    ● No warning lights are on

    Recent Work:

When I bought it a year ago, I replaced the following to get the van ready for road trips:
    ● Water pump (Motorcraft)
    ● Serpentine belt and tensioning pulleys (Motorcraft)
    ● Radiator hoses (Motorcraft)
    ● Upper and lower fuel filter (Motorcraft)
    ● Replace coolant (Motorcraft)
    ● New Moog progressive rate springs and spring bushing
    ● Bilstein B6 Series C Shocks all around, these ride a little softer than the HDs.
    ● The Fresno SMB factory made me a brand new upper bed, and I picked it up on my way to Yosemite (the SMB was ordered without it).
