Can anyone tell me about the Abarth 204 A that appeared at this year's Villa d'Este Concours?

Looks like it was bodied by Vignale...Very attractive to me...looks like a Vignale Maserati A6G in some aspects.

If that's the ex-Scott Emsley car (205 101), it's the famous car that was badly burned in a garage fire and rebuilt from a really sorry state. I've seen at least two magazine feature articles on it.

Do you have a thread anywhere devoted to the restoration of 103? I'd love to read more about it!

Most of what was left of the 1st of these 3 cars ( Chassis Number 205-101 ) is now nearly a complete rebody due to a warehouse fire. Additionally after being rebuilt with new body panels, and on the 2012 Mille Miglia, the engine blew up! The motor was then in a small shop for 2-1/2 years while being rebuilt with Fiat parts, then moved to another country. This car is mostly a bitsa, rebuilt body panels, was rebodied front & rear several times early in period, so not much of original car exists any longer. What is now mostly replica parts car has been shown, ironically, at some of the main events.
