I don't know when they are about to hit the dealers. But I think it will be regular production. Not like the Ferrari Dealers Edition wich is 200.
But John aka Olympys are more informed then me in this.

this new limited version is to expensive imo

the normal and essesse can be tuned to over 200 hp easily and cost just over 20-24k euro

I have read if they do come to the USA they will be priced around $30,000 way to much money for Italian version of a smart car. I remember some one in the USA had the racing version imported to the USA lasted year and post on here and I wanted one. As for the Ferrari model I have no clue about it or if it's coming or not but pretty neat car. The price is insane, you could buy a real Ferrari for that price.

The would be a bargain compared to the prices we have here in Europe. A nicely optioned "normal" 500 Abarth could easily cost more than $30K here.

According to what magazines say, this Ferrari edition will probably be around $50K+ over here.

Definitly the normal abarth with an essesse kit will do the trick....but to be honest that cars gearbox is the big sell for me. Having a light tuned abarth with an F1 box!! Wow! If that becomes a reality, I am in. If not, I would buy an abarth or a mini JCW.

Here is a pic I posted in the F355 pic tread today. So it's not a repost. LOL But at $50,000 grand for the Ferrari version I will pay the extra $10,000 and get the F355 any day of the week. I just wish the abarth 695 tributo was in the $15,000 grand range so I can buy my mom one. So I can drive it. LOL

Thats an amazing pic of the 355 and the abarth!!!

By the way, I have heard another story, that the 695 will be produced!! I wish we could get a confirmation, otherwise am gonna buy the wrong car.

I definitly want one, but if its not going into production, I will buy an alternative.

    Any info will always help.
