    does anyone know where i can pick up a vintage fiat 500 in Canada?

    Shouldn't be that hard. I sold mine to a guy in NY. Have you driven one? Cute, but lawn mower slow. Traffic will run over you, and mine had the 126 engine.

    i've never driven one but was in Italy and fell in love with them. I'm having a heck of a time finding used ones. What year was yours and is there anything special I should be looking out for?

    Mine was a 73 500 r. Rust is the big problem. The car is pretty sturdy for such a small car. Parts are cheap for it. Back when the euro first came out, the US exchange rate was great. I bought a pile of parts from Germany, a new top & frame, etc for under $300 US.
