Any chance there are bonifide Delta Integrales here? Any ideas on valuation. A few years ago I saw one come up for sale that ssome sort of political ambassador managed to bring over. Thoughts?

The yellow one in first link showed up again at a racing event in Michigan recently. There was a red one for sale in Maryland DC suburbs last year for $7500. Chuck Story has one in Canada. Jeff Denameade imported a gray or silver one for sale ~5 years go. Mark Everett has a red one he has used for course opening for Maine Forest Pro Rally. They're around. Seems lots are getting imported to Canada now.

Andy Smith has an Integrale 16v rallycar. So did Ron Norton but Ron's was lost in a shopfire. He may still have parts if Chuck Story didn't buy them all.

I remember the one a diplomat imported and left behind ~1992 when they returned home that you may be talking about. It was too rich for my pocket at the time. I've seen Lancia Dedra here in DC w/ diplomat tags also.

I was the owner of a diplomat's car. I bought it from a guy in Chicago and brought it to TX then drove it up to Boston in 1998. i sold it to a guy in Vermont in 1999. It was a 16v - grey exterior

I remember seeing that car on Commonwealth Ave in Boston around that time. It had Texas plates. How did you like it? Were you at BU?

That is too funny. Yes I had just moved up from TX to go to BU for my MBA. I wish i would have kept the car - i am on the hunt for a replacement

A friend of mine had one in Michigan earlier this year... sold looking for a more expensive Group B homologation car. He's had a Escort Cosworth, Ur Quattro, R5 T2, Peugeot 205 turbo... and others that I can't recall the name of. Most of them have been sold now.

edit: here's a photo in his garage
Edit: He still has the lancia!

I'm in Canada and Integrale's are multiplying up here. I just sold one and here's the rest ...

My garage isn't as pretty, nor are my Integrale's for that matter. but here they rest until I finally get around to making some sort of rallycar out of them : )

If I had won the Mega Millions I would have bought and brought over the Integrale based Lancia Hyena that's been for sale in the UK for a while.

I like the rather rare Audi Coupé S. One of the prettiest cars Audi made

Are you sure he still has the Lancia? I'm pretty sure you are talking about Francois, and I have his 16V now ;O). And I wish he would have never sold the Peugeot to Greece, that thing was super rare...

the Lane Auto Museum in Nashville has one in their collection; doubt it's for sale but might be worth a call.

    yep, they have a 16v.

I still think that EVO's are very rare.

2 Evo's got sold by Marco in SF
    1 Evo yellow Chicago
    1 Evo red Denver
    and 1 supposedly in Miami

At least these are the Evo's I know of...

I think at the time of the post, it was true. I haven't spoken with Francois for a while now. I wonder what metal is over there now.

I just saw Michelle Mouton's GrB Audi Quattro on display at Mt Washington Hillclimb. Perhaps not for sale but everything has a price I suppose. US rally legend John Buffum owns it now.

That is a phenomenal place; I spent several hours there on my one visit. Even my non-car guy wife was impressed. Only problem, no Ferraris and I noted such in the visitors book!

I don't recall seeing the Lancia but found it on their website: http://lanemotormuseum.org/lancia-delta-hf-integrale-1990

Only thing that separates Canada from US is an imaginary line, not an ocean requiring expensive transportation cost. Go buy it, stick it on a trailer like its a racecar returning from a race or drive it across and no one at the border crossing will blink an eye. And the exchange rate is usually pretty similar so you aren't losing a bunch of US dollars converting it to buy a car.

If anyone from the US wants a track, collection or show car; there they are. And for only a little extra work jumping thru loopholes, registering a car from Canada is not impossible. Rally friends have done it w/ street registered rallycars each way.

    Thats why.
