    Beautiful car, very similar to a Pantera in styling IMO. Make no mistake though.... Mangusta is in a class of its own. There is a gentleman who is actually working on replicas of these things. Awesome car!!

    Teague had at least two, 4 + were built for AMC, but after it was cancelled by AMC Bizzarrini had the rights and more were built, how many??? It's always a mystery when Bizzarrini was involved could be as many as 10 or 12.

    The gearbox is very interesting, it was a Italian military unit.

    I see lots of elements of the original Speed Racer Mach V in there.
    Should have gone into Pantera-like production.

    Bizzarrini was a genius, with his wife and Diomante he was able to produce these high quality products in a short period of time.

    According to Jack Koobs book these are the the AMX/3's

    #1 unrestored in car museum in Michigan

    #2 Bad condition and for was for sale in Indiana a couple of years ago

    #3 San diego Motor museum?

    #4 in Georgia

    #5 Florida, Blue? BMW test car?

    #6 owned by Diomante still

    I guess we would need to define if were talking about just AMX's, Sciabola's or both. I know there was one AMX prototype found a few years ago.

    I have seen the San Diego museum car it sits next to a P538.
    another is owned by a club member in Louisiana
    Dick Teauges son owns one California
