Hey I just got an idea for a new reality show on the Velocity Channel: "Car Hoarders" You need an intervention! No, seriously.. that's really cool. Do you sell them? They are pretty rare and hard to find a good one today.
I just wish I fit in one. All it would take is another 2" in length to be happy ... Can't fit my legs. The one with the Corvette taillights WTF?
we know how their brakes can be, so now we know where they all finally stopped? not a single one of those pictured hasn't been modified or molested in some way!
Yes, originally the brake on these cars aren't very good that's why we modified and upgrade on some of them.
Yes - the fronts were servo-assisted, the rears were not . . . worked fine on dry roads, but caused the fronts to lock prematurely in the wet.
I should probably have added that the brakes work fine when, as Mike said, you bypass the servo. Like Lancia did (eliminate the servo) for the Series 2 Montecarlo . . .

Cool pics Tony, same here, at one time I had one of each a Scorpion, a Beta Coupe, a Zagato, an HPE, and a Sedan. Cool pics Dave thanks for posting. Is the Gold one belongs to Jeff Davison by any chance?
No, I've seen Jeff's and he is on this forum though. Gold one had just minor mods I picked up from Joe Ceroni (I think his brother is still on this forum) and a neighbor who owned a Montecarlo previously in the middle-east hounded me until i sold him one of my cars so I sold it to him. Years later he died and his widow sold it back to me and a coworker bought it. Has been sold a couple times since.
Sold my car a couple years ago.... JD Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
Looks like you did quite the complete job. Turbo, 180HP? What was that like? I used to drool over these back when they came out. Gota Beta coupe instead. I sat in one at Monterey again last summer. Damn, I just don't fit though.
Mike, Join the Scorpion facebook page. There is a guy looking for temporary storage of a Scorpion in California.
ME TOO! It all started in '91 when you helped put the 2.0L in it when I was in Santa Rosa.... This is your fault!! JD
Question for Jeff. Did you take this Scorp to Lake Osage beach Missouri several years ago for MOFLO gathering, the Fiat Lancia thing where the Scorp was featured? I remember this car or one very close being there, and the owner who trailered it there being from Atlanta. I'm really surprised to even see that many in one place, let alone current times, that's very heartening. I'm looking for a Scorp or Alfa GTV 6. as I've had around 8 Spiders and X1/9's and still have one each. I've been a "bottom feeder" for many years and I want to expand into Lancias and Alfa's as well as Ferraris. I love just about all Italian cars. You can see so much of what Ferrari became started with where Lancia and Alfa had been years prior. I love seeing all those Scorps in one place. I haven't seen anything like that in a long time.
