I want to like it because I love Alfa Romeo, but I don't.
Will it be offered with a stick? Wonder how the trunk space it.

Will surely take over a few Cayman and Boxster sales from Porsche.

No stick. Trunk space is about 110 litres. Not really a Cayman/Boxster competitor either, more like a Lotus competitor. It's a pretty impressive piece of machinery.

Thanks Alessio. No stick, huh... No new Italian sportscar with a stick anymore, sad...

It looks like they took a page out of Lotus' playbook -- both in terms of the chassis construction and styling . . . . which I think is a good thing.

The one thing I wish Alfa would give up on is that bird beak grille.

Either way, looks like a neat car.

I just hope it's not too small for the US market. I find it strange that they would build a car to compete with Lotus, it's not like you see that many Lotus cars in the USA. A new Duetto would have been fine with me.

I wish them luck, the USA needs more Alfa"s.

Not a fan of the headlights, but I'm willing to hold final judgement until I see them in person. Is there a final MSRP for it?

It is rather small. It is 46.6" tall, 157" long, 73.4" wide (82.3" including mirrors). Accessibility is better than a Lotus, but it's not great, mostly due to tall and wide sill and low roof. Cabin space once you get inside is good. Very low H-point, by comparison my 8C feels like a SUV :D

The new Duetto is coming in 2015, based on the next MX-5 (with Alfa-specific engine and design) and built by Mazda in Hiroshima.

I find the concept good, Size good, Detailing is as only the italian can but styling (my) Dury is still out.........untill I see it in the flesh it looks awkward.

No price for the US yet.... There has been a LOT of debate on what price would be good to be able to sell 1000 or 1500 per year in the US.

    Can't grasp that styling :(

... 'Alfa' has produced some other prototypes/design studies the past few years, and I liked the styling better on the others

I like it. Looks like a car you 'put on' rather than sit in, good size, good chassis, should be a bag of fun.

    Best,

    Jack.

    Alfa USA sucks. Enough said.

I finally got an email from them after signing up to the website. In the email, they asked me to sign up for the website. Brilliant marketing -- not.

I would like to get one. I'm sure I'd be the only person in Vegas with one which would be interesting. It's Ferrari Jr. :)

Can't say I agree there. The 4C is a tribute to the Stradale without being a true retro car. The Stradale ain't chopped liver! :)

I do like the rather simple interior of the 4C. The leather strap to close the door is a nice touch.

Alfa in general are pretty bad at marketing....you have no idea what I had to go through to manage to get my Launch Edition! Anyway I really hope it's going to be worth it :)

    I sent you a PM

    Good luck
