    Well, I've finally bought one of the cars that has always been on "the list". I've always been intrigued by SM's what with their hydropneumatic suspension, turning headlights, Maserati engine, etc, etc, etc. I found this car on Bring a Trailer about six weeks ago. It was totally restored by Jerry Hathaway who runs SM World out in California. It was totally disassembled, improved, and rebuilt over the last few years. It is totally awesome! Runs so well and people at he local cars and coffee love it! It's also shed all of the ugly DOT mandated bull****.

    Very very nice. Hard to find agood SM and the less expensive ones are really not owrth it.

    Neat! I've always wanted to try driving one of these. Those seats looks so comfortable and it is space ship looking.

    Why not bring it up to Le Belle Macchine next Saturday?

    I can't remember the last nice SM we've had there and yours looks very good in the two photos I see.

    You've got a Ghibli too right?

    The SM is one of my favorite cars and yet one still hasn't made its way into my garage. Yet.
