Well i cannot choose.. What do you think? http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/d/d5/Alfa_Romeo_Tipo_33_Stradale_Front.jpg http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/a/a6/1968-Alfa-Romeo-33-Stradale.jpg
Wasn't the only Stradale with 4 lights the proto, and all subsequent cars had single headlights? Lots of small differences between the various cars. Best, Jack.
Probably 18 Stradale chassis built. 3 additional uncertain. The "Prototipo" in Arese (Museo Storico) is a reproduction from the late seventies with an original corsa chassis; original in Galleria Abarth, Japan (#750.33.01).
Dear Cris I am far from a specialist and the comment was based on my humble file, which is - at least in parts - confirmed here: Alfa Romeo 33 Stradale - Schönheit und Geschwindigkeit in Perfektion (Fahrzeugbericht)*|*Zwischengas. My naïve conclusion is this: There was only one four light car produced (and Laureatis car was a two light and cant be the Galleria Abarth car). Today there are two four light cars: the Arese car with normal wiper and the Galleria Abarth car with central roof wiper. The prototype was presented 67 in Frankfurt exactly in this configuration and two years later (68/9) the same car used in the Gina Lollobrigida movie. And no, I never check the car in Japan but yes, I know the car in Arese since many years.
It came to Germany in 1995 until 2011 when I brokered it to Switzerland. It was one of the most original 33 Stradale, still with its first paint and 2 headlamps. It made the highest price for this type so far!
Here is original one mentioned by LGS with central roof wiper. today in "Abarth Gallery" Image Unavailable, Please Login
This is #110 when owned in Germany from 1995 until 2011. I brokered the car to Switzerland. All this photos came from my camera while shooting this car for a German car magazin in 2007. Unfortunately many of my photos of this job are published in the IT without my permission...
