Nice response. Perhaps you have other photos of the car, but I don't see a grille in the image Andrew posted. The second (completely different) car posted by Will is obviously an Alfa.
Mark C hit it . . . too much De Tomaso blood mark? Hint: if the badge on the grill is an Alfa badge, then . . .?
Sorry, i knew it was an Alfa because i had seen other pictures of it sometime ago. Yesterday that photo showed up on my facebook or instagram and it reminded me how beautiful that car is. Thanks for the correct info Stefan. What a gorgeous machine.
More info here. Apparently a 1980's rebody. 1900 "prototipo" for sale at Luzzago Auction - Alfa Romeo Bulletin Board & Forums Apparently it sold for 96k euros in 2006!
Honestly I thought the two pics were from the same poster.. Ha. But. I think I was partially right in it being a copy or in this case a re body.
I'm aware that it's not a genuine and factory sanctioned car, but it's still beautiful to me. It is obviously very inspired by the 250GT SWB. It's also a good idea to point out this fact which you just did BR
2000 Sportiva Spider.............. The first picture is a rebody thats also highly reminiscent of the Maserati A6GCS by Pininfarina from the rear 3/4 view. Most PF designs in the 50s had those beautiful haunches.....
