Saw these for the first time in person over the weekend and wife/kids fell in love - How cool - open cabin, wicker seats, harmless 15 HP engine, festive canopy top - So they want one for a beach car- kind of a step up from the golf carts we use today.. (we live in a coastal neighborhood)

Starting to research them online - prices seem to be all over the place from barn finds in Europe to collector, off frame restored quality that rival used Ferrari Costs !

Luckily I have distributors in many countries in Europe and could do on site transactions and shipping fairly easy if necessary..but would of course rather find one in North America..

Any advise on things to look out for, advise on best sources or certain models? Any "Deals" left?

Thanks for any help from experts out there -

    Rob

I wanted one too, or more accurately my wife did, after we saw one at Amelia Island a few years ago. Would be a perfect neighborhood car or beach-town car. Then I saw how much they were going for. I just cant pay $75K for what is basically a less reliable golf cart.

I still find myself occasionally looking at Mini Mokes for sale, but they just don't have the charm of the Jolly.

One thing I searched for but never really found was anyone converting standard 500's into Jollys. Surely there is a market for that, seeing as how you can find a 500 for around $10K and Jollys seem to be about $75K.

    Nathan,

great pics - thanks and sounds like we have gone down similar paths... The search is full on in Italy now with my contacts there - I'll report back findings and hope others see this thread and have some inputs as well..

Well if you uncover any good Jolly contacts in Italy do please let us know. Maybe we can do an FChat group buy on a shipping container on the way back...could probably fit 8 or 10 Jollys into one of those! :D

Just a few days ago I saw a beautiful Jolly-type conversion of Autobianchi Bianchina, listed with Italian dealer Silvauto. Check with wife and kids whether it is cute enough for them, IMHO it is even better looking than Jolly. And money asked is not ridiculous either.
