The car in question has sat for the better part of the last 8-9 years / more.
Not running. Spica is most likely stuck too. Have not seen the car, but will in near future.

All the mechanicals are in an unknown condition as car cannot be driven, which means transmission is questionable as are all bearings that sat half in oil, half in air. Engine condition is also an unknown factor.

My guess, is a complete teardown of all that should move will be required.

What is a fair valuation, considering all of the above?

    Thank you for the opinions.

    Regards, Alberto

    Alberto,
Can't say for sure with such limited information. You mention only mechanicals.. very hard without seeing the rest of it.

    - What about the interior?
    - Rust? Paint? All glass?
    - Are all the parts present on the car? ..Does it come with all trim, instruments, switchgear, spare wheel, tools, jack, manual.
    - The condition of the front grille, headlight doors and unique trim parts?
    - Is the mileage low?
    - Was it maintained and driven until parked 9 years ago?

A wild guess would be to start around $30,000 if it's a complete mess… then build the price up if anything on the car is good enough to use..
    Cheers,
    - Art

I personally would see a car being "a complete mess" in the range from 5k to 15k €, depending on the condition of the body and completeness of the car.

Doing a full restauration at high standards is still a brave undertaking, even with the present price rush (whereby I do doubt that there are many sales at this asking level presently).

    Cheers, Bernhard

Thank you all for the smart comments. I still have to see the car.

Next week, I will be able to post some photos and have a better assessment of the other issues in question.

I know Montreals quite well, have another one, so well aware of trouble spots.

    Regards, Alberto
