The model consists of more than 600 parts made of an assortment of materials including metal, rubber and premium quality plastic. Most of the parts are simply screwed. Wheels, transmission chain, front and rear suspension, brake and clutch levers are all functional and offer an incomparable level of detail.

It is awesome, isn't it!! :)

I just blew a few thousand on another guitar, the Wife is going to kill me when it arrives next week.

And I am looking at another guitar, but he wants even more for this one. Might give it a miss though, two guitars, $10,000 gone in a week and the Wife would definitely divorce me. :(

Saw a '58 Fender come out of SE Houston, still in the original case.

The owner was ill and settling his estate.

I called Jimmie Vaughan about it, but did not hear the end of the story.
    We were talking $65 - 80K.....

Be happy this model isn't a traditional Pocher kit!

If it were, you would have had to assemble the chain "link-by-link" like their 1903 Grand Prix Fiat model.

How hard would something like this be to build for someone with little (well, actually zero) model experience?

I'd love to tackle it with my kids.

I would think even a beginner could assemble it with some patience. It is all screws and very minor gluing if any, and nothing needs to be painted, it's all ready for assembly. I would compare the quality slightly above that of a large metal Kyosho diecast kit.
