AP Racing Formula one (F1) monobloc caliper and carbon pads - Renault R29

Like new condition AP Racing Formula 1 CP-6365 Monobloc caliper as used on the Renault R29 2009 Formula 1 car. This is an extremely rare opportunity to find a caliper in such a condition, especially with the original box and a pair of lightly used carbon-carbon pads. The caliper without pads weighs just over two (2) pounds, ultra lightweight for the highest level of motorsports which is F1 racing. This caliper is fitted with two AP dry break fittings as well.

This would be great as a conversion piece on any office desk or coffee table for the true F1 gear head and/or brake fanatic.

Caliper specs:
A six-piston, differential bore caliper designed to operate on a ventilated carbon discs of 270.0 DIA x 28.0 WIDE in a 13" DIA wheel. Short bores and correspondingly increased minimum carbon stack thickness allows for a reduced radial profile.

Standard specification calipers are supplied with pistons to suit an 18.0 thick pad. Snap-in caps are available to suit pads of reduced thickness. The caliper can accomodate two LVDTS, which detect the movement of the centre pistons & so give a measure of carbon stack wear.

The caliper has seals in the mouth of the bore.
