    You'd be surprised how often it happens. For example, that Panerai I have listed was purchased for 32K new and never worn outside, and it'll go for < 20.

    I know the collector and he told me he draped it over his wrist and put it in the safe.

    With regard to this Hublot, the owner traded it right back in for a gold one.

    Thinking about this more, the same thing happens when guys quickly trade and upgrade exotic cars, or audiophile equipment. The only difference is the % of depreciation between different luxury goods.

    The real trick is to have the opportunity to benefit from it at the right time..... ;) ;) :)

    He has a complete passion for LIFE......watches are secondary.

    I personally think he's a genius.

    Not universally well known, but I really admire him.

    He is ceo of both as far as I know, cool guy he sent me a handwritten extended warranty of a watch one day I met him and he saw me wearing it.
    Only problem I see with Hublots is that every single model now is a "limited edition", therefore there is no real added value to that, and I am talking about the brand in general not Darths watch.

    I see your point in terms limited editions.

    Even still, I truly believe that he is the force responsible for the rebirth of mechanical timepieces during the 80s let alone the savior of Blancpain.
