    I actually really like the flyby noise of this electric car! What do you think? Probably a bit more boring noise for the driver, but imagine a bunch of these together... They sound like jets (on YouTube + computer speakers anyway).

    The Audi R18 TDI e-tron quattro is not a fully electric car.

    It is a diesel powered hybrid. The car runs on the diesel engine which winds
    a centrifuge battery that spools up and dispenses hybrid power to the front wheels
    once the car reaches 120MPH.

    The sounds we're really hearing on those videos which were shot at pre-Le Mans testing
    at Monza last year are the turbos, they hybrid and the air rushing over the car at
    speed.

    Cool to see those videos again and a reminder of what F-1 at Monza could be if they
    did away with the chicanes.
