Should be a great 12hr. Here's some testing footage- Porsche 919 and Audi R18 LMP1 Cars at Sebring - YouTube

Hi Chas. I certainly hope so. Another business issue could slow me down this next week but hopefully that will be resolved in time for me to get to The Race. BHW
Chas, Barton, I'm flying down tomorrow for the week under Musante for the Super Trofeo race. Stop by!
Awesome article on Peter Gregg. I was a huge fan of IMSA in the 1970s and loved the Porsche 935, your article brought back a lot of great memories.
Is there not going to be TV coverage of the finish? All I'm seeing is that it will be online only for the last half of the race.
that is correct, no live coverage on TV of the finish of the race you will be able to get it via live streaming. here's the broadcast/radio/live streaming schedule: Tudor United Sportscar Championship - RACER?s 12 Hours of Sebring Resource Guide
Absolute insanity that it won't be on TV. A series cannot be successful online-only. ALMS knows that all too well. This must be NASCARs way of killing the sport for good.
Looking forward to the race. I presume long pants required to be in the pits? Looks like the weather should be great. Forza Ferrari!!
March Madness you would think that Fox could find another network (Fox News, Fox Business, etc) to air it, those channels aren't particularly busy on a Saturday night. but I believe the TUSCC deal with Fox was part of the "sweetening the pot" for Fox getting NASCAR back, I doubt Fox is particularly interested in making sports car racing a priority.

Sorry, but I will not be able to attend Sebring. Hope for a good race, will be watching on TV (the first three hours anyway). BHW
Dixon fastest in free practice, some 9 seconds off the pace of the pole winning Audi e-tron quattro last year. I'm no math genius, but thats a whole lotta lot. USC Sebring 12 Hours: Scott Dixon puts Ganassi on top in FP1 - United SportsCar news - AUTOSPORT.com BHW
to put that in perspective, ~9 seconds was the difference between the fastest prototype and the slowest GTLM in today's practice. wowzers.
Not attending the 12 for the first time in the past 5 years...but...the full race will be televised on Speed in Canada. Go figure and go Risi..
Radio LeMans did an interview with the head of marketing for IMSA last night and he tried to explain the TV situation...I still don't understand it but a lot of the problem was US TV contracts that prevented them from airing the race, but he felt as the series gains recognition/ratings/attendance that will change. it is going to be live streamed on IMSA.com, which is better than nothing...
I don't have Fox Sports and they said the live steam wouldn't start until three hours into the race but it's working for me right now IMSA | TUDOR United SportsCar Championship | Live Broadcast
