    I've seen some Veyron flyby videos on YouTube (and Top Gear) and they are mental, and this will be about 4x the VMax speed of the Veyron. Unbelievable.

    Hope they make it.

    I enjoyed this but it may not be worth the 42+ minutes to everyone.

    I loved the footage of Andy Green simulating the Hound's G experience for Monkey in his Extra 300 stunt plane.

    If you have a car- or tech-nut on your Valentines Day list, you can have his/her name printed on Bloodhound's fin for 15 Pounds Sterling (~$25).

    In what way is 1000 mph any less possible than the speed of sound (approx 700 mph) where the current record stands ?
