    Announcing GEGCRSNA!

In the early stages of planning but......

Rallycars have been selected by the Pittsburgh Vintage Grand Prix to be the feature of the carshow on a plush golfcourse overlooking the 20-turn streetcourse in scenic wooded city park lined by stonewalls passing fountains in front of a quarter-million spectators.

[ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7lSlbuEzI1Q]2014 Pittsburgh Vintage Grand Prix Promotional - YouTube[/ame]

Everyone is invited but really looking for unique and historically significant cars. Could be fully-prepped rallycars, replicas or streetcars of rally significance (Stratos, 037, Delta, 131, 510, A110, 96, SWB, URQ, GrB anything, 206, R5, Evo1-IV,....). If you have a blue Subaru, there is room there also to show but not what we are looking for as the feature display.

Waiting for a big announcement due anytime regarding the featured marque but rumor is it is one right down our Italian back-alley. And, should be the National Meet of that featured marque's club so lots of other cool cars will be in attendance. There will be nightlife planned (Pittsburgh provides!) for group fun so plan for a weekend.

Owners or gawkers are welcome to join the FB group: 'N American Owners of cars of Rally Significance'.

I assume you mean the annual FLU - Freak Out. They announced that at the 2014 event.

Officially the Freakout location had not been announced, but yes seems everything is being approved. As far as it being FLU, they wrote Lancia out of their name and now is Fiat Club America. As a Lancia guy, guess I need to start a new club.

Has a date been confirmed yet? If not that is no big deal and as a huge Rally fan with a July 4th b-day I would like to start planning for your event. I will need pit/driver/babe access.

Been there, done that. Was always split by the pre-Beta owners and Beta owners on several aspects.

FCA made the offical announcement yesterday. Think they were waiting on corporate to approve or PVGP to announce them as marque of event.

For the most part traditional Car Clubs are a thing of the past especially for the smaller marques. Internet forums are the new car clubs.
