Mark won race 1 after starting 2nd and making an awesome T1 pass midrace. Image Unavailable, Please Login
Wow, expected the Challenge guys to be amateur hacks as usual and the Supercup Porsches more talent, but the Porsche guys are hacks! Challenge was clean racing, there have been so many dumb dive bomb wrecks in T12 with the Porsche guys.
You're violating your site's own rule declaring the winner right there in the subject line! I happen to like that rule.
from what I've heard, one of the T12 Supercup wrecks was due to brake failure (?) but those things are usually crash fests from midfield back, young guys and guest/pay drivers are a bad combination.
On Friday the Porsche guys had a bunch of trouble with T12. There were a few really close calls with the wall. The challenge guys kept it together for the most part at T12. I really enjoyed watching the Porsche and Ferrari guys on track.
Everyone is ok, but it was super disappointing to drive around under yellow for 25mins, on Sunday Long story about FIA making the pole start on the right, when the left is obviously infinitely better for a rolling side by side start. Saturday was my best race ever. Thanks Mark Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
I couldn't believe that Saturday when you qualified 2nd and got the inside line. That pass you made on Perez later in the race T1 is one of the best passes I've seen ever.
congrats mark....your a badass....I may have to disagree though with you on your "best race ever"...Daytona this year was nearly epic.
I am not sure if they post them any longer.. To sum it up, mark showed up late to Daytona event and started last in grid (of about 30 cars)...he was so far back he was in nascar 3 when green flag dropped. He worked his way all the way to 4th in a 45 min race with 2 yellow flags! If the race didn't end on yellow he would of like won....probably the best I seen of him in 4 years.
sounds epic, Mark has always been fast AND smart/consistent. many have one or the other, but not many both. I just wondered where Scott Tucker was on lap times and results after being a full pro the last 6 years.
