halfway through, looks like al-attiyah might have a handle on things in his mini although toyota is pushing hard robbie gordon is flogging the gordini but still out of the running the real show is the bikes with coma and barreda going hammer and tong watching the trucks fly over the dune ridges and smash through the arroyos i often wonder why no american company fields an entry. the dakar rally is truly the most gruelling test of man and machine on earth watching a bike flying down sand covered railroad tracks at over a hundred mph is unbelievable. sadly, one rider has died.
Reading about it and trying to keep up. Is Dakar being broadcast anywhere in a tape delay format this year? I've not been able to find it. BHW
Friend of mine is doing it on quads. Unfortunately he was out after the 2nd stage due to having used to soft a compound of tire which kept going flat/destroyed (Brian Baragwanath). Hope he's back in '16.
all over for this year. al-attiyah wins for mini coma wins in the bikes robbie gordon win the last stage for a 19th overall finish kamaz trucks sweep the podium sonik takes the quads
