June 6 I have a 3 hour night race @ Homestead Speedway in my Corvette Daytona Prototype.

Never raced at night but have done track events at night.

My coach Eric Curran will likely start @ finish while I do the 2nd hour

    Thnx

I would think the same aspects have not changed regarding night races or night track events sir. Braking points/indicators will be key and proper eye wear I think are key aspects, glare is a ***** and all too blinding.

Have a great race and bring that sassy lady home (finish).

William H: are your headlights enough? Do they show the road far enough ahead and enough around you so that you can safely drive?

    Thanks!

    Jacob :)

Most of the tracks these days are lit up like mall parking lots at night.

Highly unlikely it'll be much of a difference.

Yup. Very track dependent. I've done some with no lights on track, and there you REALLY want good headlights. Like, better than you ever dreamed of. If the track is lit it's no big deal.

    Oh...
If you can see headlights; it's bad. If you can see a LOT of headlights, it's bad and you did it!

Night racing is amazing and fun. Have a blast!

Not too much difference. You can't really tell who is behind you because all the lights look the same. You might want to tint your side mirrors to prevent too much glare.
