Pretty fair article here (for a non-racing site): Last lap for the legendary Nürburgring? Are there other discussions on the racing websites? Stuck seems to have some reasonable ideas to solve the speed issues; notably the introduction of chicanes, reducing some aero, and lower-spec rubber. Any/all of these changes could perhaps satisfy those who want to close the track.... Other suggestions? (Mr. G; you were there with your race cars; do you have any thoughts?)
