I would like to, but the budget is too high for me. Might be able to work something out with the Scuderia Corsa guys but not very likely. I'll probably sell the car after the Laguna Seca PWC race (or before, if the new owner will let me drive it there.).

458 will still be the car to have next year w/ the 488 being brand new (and also hard to get, there will only be a handful of them available by Daytona). And being a 24 Hour race followed by a 12 Hour race... if you want to win you might not want to use the new car even if you can get your hands on one. ;)

good luck with the sale! but not too much luck until after Laguna :)

any buzz on the % increase on GTD/GT3 budgets for next year? I'm assuming a lot of the European teams will be eyeing Daytona and Sebring at least.

agree on the 488, at least for the first two rounds.

Budgets should be about the same as this year, but all the new cars have gone up about 25% in cost. They were already expensive before, but now they're all in the $750k USD range... not including spares. It's not sustainable for a "ProAm" class, so we'll see how it goes in a season or two.

I couldn't do the Road America PWC round because I was at the 6 Hours of Watkins Glen, as much as I'd like to race a GT3 at Road America. We tested there for 2 days last year and were very fast.

I wanted to do Mosport but couldn't find anything to drive.
