    Any F'Chatters going to this event? I went last year, & it was just amazing. Plenty of camping space & enough "name" drivers to maintain interest. This year, in fact, entrants include Danny Sullivan, Bobby Rahal, Hurley Haywood, Brian Redman, etc.
    And having been going to the real 24 for (only) 21 years, I never thought I had missed my chance to hear a Ford GT 40 or Porsche 962 howling around the high banks at 2 am ... just marvelous!

    I'm going. Got my tickets in hand, and planning to hit the Ferrari corral parking.

    Can only do the weekend, though, and no camping. Will drive in Saturday and Sunday from New Smyrna.

    Yes the first time seeing GTP cars at night coming off the banking is an amazing sight and sound.

    As for me-- -only time was in 1993 Daytona 24 with the Toyota Eagles, Npt Nissans, and plenty of 962's.

    And a white Rolex hat for being a helper with the GT invitation winning 911.

    There will be 2 360 challenge cars 1 430 challenge and 2 365gtb4 comp Dayton's. Should be epic!

    Very good 911 shots! My F'Chat posted pics from last year's historic 24 included 2 very rare Porsches. I know this is a Ferrari site, but cool is cool, right?

    Derek Bell just announced he will co-drive the Lowenbrau Porsche 962 at this year's event!
    And Brian Redman is back in one of the six (!) BMW 3.0 CSL "Batmobiles". Counte in.
