    Maybe this is old news, but while in Germany I saw a magazine comparing a early 80s Targa with what seemed to be a new Targa. Beautifull thing, and I think has a retractible roof. Is it being sold in the US, or will it ever be?

    yes, it's coming to America. already on the porsche configurator :)

    only available with AWD (Carrera 4/4S), which has been the trend for the last few model generations for reasons I've never fully understood.

    really like the lines of this car. the slow slope of the rear glass makes it very attractive to me. I would really prefer a 2WD car with manual gears, but that may take a few years.
    if it takes too long, I may go for a Cayman S. cheers
