In Australia the TT is around $160K - $175K, the C2S around $110K a bit more if manual as only 6-8 came to Oz in manuel, and around $45k for SC....G50 gearboxed Carerra's are going up big time here shame I sold mine.

Very nice cars always tough to keep Black mint but they look lovely...love the Fuchs on the SC

I sold my '82 SC Targa with ~50k miles last fall for $31k (excellent shape, 2 owner car), at full ask. Could be worth even more now.

I've been shopping 993's and want one as I really just hate all new cars. They've really jumped in price which sets off my "hold off" radar.

    I just picked up a 95 993 C4 for $41K. It has 28K miles. I feel like I stole it. I've already been offered $50k for it.

I wonder if these cars will ever make their way back to North America. Many classics and exotics made their way back after the Japanese market had a massive correction

Some regrets, bought my 86 SC in 89 for $35K with 5K miles, sold it in 92 for $35K (trade) with 9K miles...thinking of buying another 86 as a driver, probably cost me $35K...LOL !

Here in Brazil 993's reached a pricepoint of around US$ 65K for early tiptronic cars, while 97' S Turbo bodied cars, were around the 86K mark. This was around 3/4 years ago.

Now, the early cars with a clean bill of health are around 85-95K, while the 97 S cars are around 120K.

    Turbo's are around 260K, and a 98 Turbo S just sold for 430K.

Yes, cars for us are insanelly expensive.

I have been feeling the same way, and that's why I bought my 993. Always wanted one, too. I managed to get mine JUST before they really took off, and I've loved every minute of owning the thing. My favorite all-around car to date.
