Seems my respected dealer of over 20 years has no info about 2015 GT3 allocations, paint to sample, nor sport seats availability. Anyone have success with the GT3 the order process? Know PCNA is recovering with the engine replacements, but they usually are more strategic for upcoming models.
Spoke with the COO of PNA today about my 2014 GT3 status and asked about 2015. There will be a limited amount of 2015 for those that did not have a 2014 that got pushed to 2015. Dealers have not been informed what number of 2015's they will get to order but will be a very low number as the pushed 2014's that will now be 2015's will take a majority of the planned 2015 total production.
So, it seems getting a new build 2015 GT3, even if #1 on a dealer list, is close to zero? Plus, forget about PTS, and sport seats, as it is not a priority for PNA? TIA.
From my discussion, if you are working with a low volume dealer it will be a challenge for them to be allocated a "non 2014 pushed to 2015 GT3" PNA gives allocations first to high volume dealers.
I was told there was one allocation left at my dealer and I put down a deposit a few months ago. I have yet to even get a call for the build date, so who know's. Over at rennlist, people re receiving their gt3's, though I think and don't quote me, they are are all still the 2014 with the new engines.
They are all 2014's with the new engines in them. I am still waiting on my 2014 to come from Germany. It was on the production line at time of stop sale. In my recent discussion with PNA COO there will be a very limited number of 2015's allocated to those that had not had a 2014 on order at the time of the stop sale. Thus if your dealer is a small dealer likely they will not get one car allocated to them,
