Hey Guys I was offered here locally, a really nice Porsche 1997 993 Turbo Black with Burgundy. The leather is simply amazing.... 2 owner car I think, never been damaged... This is not my car, it was offered to me about 1 hour ago. Only 24,500 Miles. It drives on rail and shift like butter..... Simply amazing car! I only wished I had the room in my Garage. Looks awesome. I really like the color combination, the black dials, and the rear wiper. Thanks for posting! Matt
Buy it, buy it - fantastic car - love mine. This is an appreciating classic, almost doubled in value here in the UK in the last two years. Did I say buy it?
from the owner, "The car is a 1996 993 twin turbo. It is all original, black with deep red interior and has 24,500 miles on it. It is in excellent condition inside and out. I am the third owner and have owned the car for over 12 years. It is currently getting new rock guards installed along with full polish and exterior detail. It has a leak that appears to be coming from the timing chain cover or valve cover. My intentions are to drop the motor and replace all seals, gaskets, plugs, etc. Once that is completed, I will offer the car at $128,000. Olivier asked me what I would take once the detail work is completed and I quoted him a firm price of $120,000."
kickin myself in the A** for not buyin one of these two years ago when they were in high 60's!!! is that a plastic tarp over car?? UGH.. I hope not!!
Looks like a very very clean car, I like the flamenco red interior. If only I could import it here in Kuwait. We can import any car that is 5 years or younger or 40 years old +.
valve cover leaks no biggie as i think they are plastic and warp... there is a alum fix upgrade.... ???? couled be wrong
I have a '96 with ~38K miles, just a terrific car. Far more character than the water-cooled cars and equivalent performance due to light weight. Image Unavailable, Please Login
They need to be driven frequently and less time sitting in a garage. A good 10 minute drive weekly will be something beneficial for these cars.
No... 10 minutes is not long enough, that's worse than letting it sit.. You need to get it up to full operating temp and driven at that temp for at least 20 min or so. ...and not all Porsches leak oil.
Actually I think it has low 40's mileage. Not sure. I bought it a few years old, and it was my daily for some time. I will sell it soon to make room for a vintage car I just purchased. I am trying to downsize my collection!
