I have a flawless 2007 911 turbo, GT silver with only 9500 miles. Plan on trading it towards 458. But I suspect they will offer wholesale.

Is this car ever going to be worth anything? 6 speed.

I'm nervous because I sold my 89 speedster, prior to the crazy price increases. Thanks

I'd say there's a zero percent chance of those appreciating in any time in the next 30 years.

If you think in a positive outlook its the last generation of manual gearbox 911 Turbo.

    about 963 89 speedsters built....

how many 997 turbos ? sadly it's just another used car. at some point they will sideline on the depreciation curve. how long you want to wait...

i have a 94 speedster. not for sale.

A car has to do something, even one thing, no other car in its class can do better in order to appreciate. The 993 is the most advanced air cooled Porsche so I feel it will appreciate for many years. The 997 is a wonderful car but I'm not sure what it can do better than the 991, unless you love the car I would say to sell it privately at the highest price because it is still on the wrong side of the depreciation curve.

Unfortunately, it will only drop more before it goes up (if it does..cars like that might be illegal by that time..). The only remarkable thing of yours is the low mileage. Manual Turbos are not super rare. With the 997.2 Turbo starting to hit the used market, it will only get worse (It's much faster).
I would sell privately if they offer you in the 50s. You could get $7x,000.

Forgive my Porsche ignorance, but isn't the 2007 997 the last turbo to use the much vaunted Metzger engine?

Yeah that. I swear I read somewhere that that was the last year for that motor in the turbo.

A 911 Turbo has intrinsic value... but unlikely to appreciate in near future. For what it's worth, they are still making substantially the same car, and plenty of them, unlike the air cooled cars.
